ie "start" "programs" quick link to website corrupeted/stuck/messed up...What do I to correct?
Mornin' Folks, Scenario: created a link to a frequented web site in "start" "programs" go to link click link (this browser, no other on sys) and it auto enters the site with the previous user. No log in page (as it used to do last week), just goes right into that users page on the web site. Very, very frustrating as the only way to correct this is to completely clean the comp and reboot. The "keep signed in" box is NOT checked by any of the users. Theories: something in comp is corrupted, first thought is an entry was put into the registry. However, burrowing into the reg has been fruitless, can't find anything/keyword that would point me in that direction. I've used the regeditor and not worried about mistakes...been doing so since win 95. I'm thinking that its an easy fix, but that thought is over, hence my request and question. What I've tried: deleted the link, completely cleaned comp, created new link...no go, getting the same result. Needed: suggestions, other theories to work on, advice, you name it, I'll try it. Thanks in advance. horatio
